The monastery treasury was ceremonially opened in a renovated complex at the Monastery of Ráckeve, on Thursday, 16 September 2021.
First, joined by the clergy, His Excellency Lukijan, Bishop of Buda, consecrated the new museum. The ceremony was followed by a festive programme attended by Mr Miklós Soltész, Hungary’s State Secretary for Churches and Minorities, Mr Zoltán Vereckei, Mayor of Ráckeve, Mr Károly Pánczél, Member of the Hungarian Parliament, Mr Ljubomir Alekszov, Representative of the Serbian Nationality in the National Assembly of Hungary, representatives of the Roman Catholic Church and many more.
The festive cultural programme was provided by Prof. György Puha (clarinet) and Alyona Rakitskaya (violin).
